so.. since we hve the opportunity to spend quality time tgther (plus buying me lunch n movie coz she forgot my bday), we did it so at where else but at the curve area..
from cineleisure to ikea..

went to see forgetting sarah marshall..
quite funny but too many scenes were cut out..
quite okla the movie..
funny gak la..
n we had lunch at ikea..
sedap jg mkn kt situ..
not so expensive pun..
i had the poached salmon n baked cheese cake..
izni ordered the herbal chicken leg..
nyum2...!
i knw whr my next lunch is gona b after dis (bfore puasa ni kne g lg ni..)

just cant help it.. it only costs around rm35..
n its very roomy.. (fyi, i got loads of stuffs to put in em.. small bags r not an option..)

just read bout the recent case bout some blogger doin some sorta offence..
n he's facing charges..
so i knw that sometimes we have the tndency to pour our guts out but please, dont do it in ur blog..
if u wanna do it, put it in ur diary..
out of public sight..
why let anger put us in jail..?
just bcoz we're not satisfied wif smetin doesnt mean that we hve absolutely right to over-criticize it..
ur not just only gettin urself into trouble..
but also others..
case after case..
problems after problems..
allegations after allegations..
what have malaysia become..?
smetimes i wonder, will malaysia be a "safe" place for my future children to grow..

today is saturday n like other people in the world, im enjoying my day off from campus/work..
i just came home dis afternoon..
wantd to get some rest and work done (hopefully...)
i got presentation on wednesday but still hvent dig up the resources yet..

4th till 10th August 2008..
so im not sure wht ill be doin but i already knw wht my tasks are..

next week is goin to be tiring i bet but at least itll help me get my mind of something..

wow! long time not blogging!

the last entry i posted was on 12th july..
its been quite a while i hvent been bloging..

lucky me im in my 3rd year n lucky me ive manage to drive to um since the first class of first year till now..
yeay..

yesterday..
my fren n i had dinner at Wendy's..
at first i thought it was as pricy as carl's junior..
but when we went to look at the menu, the price is roughly the same wif mcd..
better!
the size does matter..
small wendys is like regular mcd..
regular wendys is like large mcd..
large wendys is like nothing that mcd have..
haha..
plus they have baked potatoes (with cool toppings), chillis and many2 more..
the burgers r diff so i surely recommend u guys to check em out..

A Lame 1st Day

and yes..
the new semester has begun..
with only 15 credit hours of subjects applied, ive to reg another 1 0r 2..
so that i can grad on time plus my majoring..
so far.. eberythings not goin the way id wanted..
but hey..
thats life..'its never the way we wanted..
kinda tiring..

for example the cross junction nearby the library area has been converted..

Guilty as charged! I cant resist not buying!

today i thought i wanted to hangout wif amy at sunway pyramid..
since i hvent seen her for quite a long time n yeah miss her lots..
anyway..
things didnt get the way i wanted..
well.. we cant always have everything go our way rite..?

back to my story..
i was goin to get ready when my mum called and said dat hizam was gona take the car to service..
darn..
although i have my wira but u knw its still recovering and im kinda afraid to drive it out of putrajaya perimeter..
kalu jadi ape2 nanges x blagu le kat tgh2 highway tu..
since im not goin out, i just continue to sleep..
haha!
then my mom woke me up and ask to pick her up to do some groceries at alamanda..
we went to cold storage..
my mum hvent been at alamanda's cold storage bfore so she kinda fell in love there..
well.. comparing to carrefour, cold storage is way nicer..
but most of the products are basically from overseas..
stuffs like crisps (potato chips), smoked salmon (droool...), various instant noodles and etc..
our aim was to buy the head of a salmon for curry tonite..
dad came back home from korea tday so its a kinda tradition to cook his favourite meal..
well.. our favourite dish as well la..
hehe...
mula2 takde the salmon head..
but then suddenly the staff offered one coz they wantd to cut the whole fish..
we were kinda happy and even saw 1 staff nearby who was grinning.. cis..

and today..
ive found wht ive been searching for..
a deep blue oversized handbag..

its kinda pricy for me..

Another ordinary day...

today was nothin but ordinary..
heh..?
for real..??
no way..
tday i was jln2 cr pasal..
n i did cr pasal..
wanted to go to petaling street but ended up in jln sultan ismail..?
how stupid is that???
DARN STUPID!
i always get mixed up wif pudu, chow kit and ptaling street..
n my guts will say 'turn here', 'turn there' and ' or was it there..?'..
douh!
so i was strolling in the golden triangle n also the outskirt of it..
n hey..
i kinda get the hang of it u knw..
try putting me in the middle of it next month and i bet i'll say 'i think it was this way..'
sign of poor memory..
haha! not good..

so later dat day, my sis advice me to go n park at CM and walk from there..
i was suppose to cross the road on my right but i ended up walking towards cm..
actually was fascinated by the new cm environment..
mind me i hvnt been there for many2 years..
i walked with full of confidence (but no sense of direction) along the streets and realized that hey! thats my sis office.. im so totally in the wrong street..
so i went back to square 1 n then started to think mana eak Hotel Malaya ni..
actually i wanted to meet up wif my buddy.. (thats another story ill tell later ya..)..
like i always do, i went up to the best tourist guide in the world, Mr. Taxi Drivers, and ask for directions..
la..

haha... silly ol me..
n then i was kinda fascinated with that area at that time so i decided to take a stroll for a while n then decide to depart..

next story..
i was goin to make payment at the OCBC bank at Puchong just now..
i was pissed off when the cash deposit machines wont accept my fckin notes..
ended up hve to use manually..
and EVERYBODY knows im a no brainer in using all those slips thingy..
and yeah..
im takin economics and insyaAllah majoring in finance..
but not knowing how to use those slips thingy is just wrong...
haha..
its probably i scarcely go to the bank..
heck.. my 1st bank account was when i was 18 years young..
n i did hve a lot of difficulties withdrawing money using the ATM machines bfore that..
luckily, Mesh, my ex roomate at KMKN helped me out..
the thing is my parents usually gves money by hand..
n since we hvent been separated on a long distance basis, dats y we ended up opening bank accounts at the age of 18..

n yes tday is just an ordinary day with some few extra flavours on the side..

they always make cool gadgets and ending up wif me drroooooling over em..

the new 3G iPhone which hopefully will launch soon is a great phone..
well.. to me la..
despite it has no bluetooth but heck i like it..!
im no Go-Go Gadget Girl so i dun really care bout other functions except for the internet access, phone and mp3 parts..
the touch screen is easy and no need to hassle to use a pen to tap in the keys..
the phone is big so i can see it easily PLUS it wont be easily get lost in my ever so huge handbag!

but they say is gonna be quite cheap ( cheap as in value for money.. )

Welcome Home Ma And Abah!

After 3 weeks of leaving us alone in Malaysia.. (which we dont really mind.. hikhik..) and now they're back!
just arrived at 8am after 12 hours flight..
sampai2 je tnye souvenirs!

mum bought us watches..

my sis black Tissot which is totally amazing..

Pre-School Teachers Training..

haaa...
many of u dont knw dat i went to pre-school teachers training which started last week..
this week its my turn to get my hands dirty..
doing the real thing..
practical that is..
my practical location is at ampang..
sumwhere near ampang point there..
dun ask me im so totally screwed in ampang..
hehe..
anyway...
i arrived at the kindergarten at 7.30a.m..
and waited for the children to come..
at first it was ok..
and then as the numbers of children rolling in began to increase, it did kinda get out of hand..
kids were running everywhere..
making oh so many noises..
i thought it was normal n decided just to let them at it..
i mean they r kids rite..
but i did make sure that they play safely n nicely..
the children at first looked at the new teachers with full of inquiries..
who in d hell are they..? (is what they might be thinking..)
and we would just say hello.. hye.. uknw.. the normal stuffs..
and then when the bell rang, all the children lined up according to their years..
and then they recited 10 surahs..
they can even translate the first 4 verses of Al-Fatihah..
in English!
maybe its me who is sooooo jakun but it wasnt like dat when i went to my kindergarten..
things have changed..

after that..
i went to the year 6 class..
observed teacher Umi conducted english class..
i learned a lot..
the kids are owh so cuute!
not to mention a bit mischief..
well.. they are kids kan..?
there's this one boy, Syafiq, who was running around, suddenly lifted my top..
haaa! first day school and i was harassed!!
hahaha..
n then teacher Umi gave him some 'presents'..
ahh.. kids.. reminded me of my cousin when he was his age..
kcik2 dh gatal..
hahaha.. kids.. die tau ape kn..? (x leh kate jgk kn.. noting is impossible nowadays..)
anyway..
n then i went to observe teacher Sham teach bm..
the kids were a bit naughty..
but they are ok..
some are soooo talkative (which for me is good) and some are just too quiet..
some gave us cuute answers..
and some just didnt pay attention..
u cant expect every kid to be the same kan..
or else teaching pre-schoolers is easy as pie..
i was supposed to leave at 3 but i thought i finished at 11.30.. (stated last week on the notice..)
so it was kinda rugi to leave awal..
after a while kids started to talk to us..
a girl complimented my pink handphone..
a boy keep smiling and calling me teacher Izzaty..
ahax! Teacher Izzaty.. How cute ey..??
muahaha.. perasan..
but it was fun la today..
but at the same time owh so tiring..
cant wait to knw what's in store for us tomorrow..

didnt get to register my subjects..

haha..
it proves that procrastination leads to consequences..
but it wasnt exactly my fault either..
i was suppose to register my subjects yesterday..
but i was blocked coz i didnt pay my fees..
but..
recently the UM Treasury (Students Finance Section) thingy sent me a msg via perdanamail said dat my fees were only rm200 sumtin..
when i tried logging on ysterday, its says dat ive rm500++ of debt..
haih..
im not mad that they credited the sum but i was pretty upset that they didnt informed me earlier..
they expect me to call the treasury everyday and ask about my fees..
but, u know..
things happen..
ive problems every semester during subjects registration n now just wait till add n drop week..
prepare letter for manual registration..
u know, the usual..
the first two weeks will be owh so hectic..
owh well..
no use of whining..
i must pay the price for procrastinating! hahaha!!

Crude Oil Price

after for like days i hvent write in my blog suddenly im gonna talk about crude oil price..
hmmm...
im no expert in judging whther should government increase oil price or not but all i knw it that the increment is quite drastic..
rm2.70 per litre..
which makes full tank of my car costs around rm100++..
damn..
thats a lot..
but i hve to admit that increase in oil price inevitable..
USD139 per barrel within a short period..
i read sumwhere in the BBC and CNN news that one of the reasons that the price spiked up was due to the Israeli's gov threats to attack Iran..
The Israeli also told that the attack might be 'unavoidable'..
and all this resulted to speculations and speculations means INCREASE IN PRICE..
(if im not mistaken.. do correct me if im wrong ya)..
and now there are rumors that oil price will spiked up till USD200 per barrel..
wow!!
that is like history!!

can we ever defeat the crude oil price issues..?
some say the gov should not hve increase the oil price and should gve subsidies bcoz our own country produce oil..
true that Malaysia produce oil..
but we are not the main producers..
we don't set the price of oil from USD38 to USD200 per barrel..
major oil countries or those in OPEC (The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) which consists of mainly from the Middle East and some part of South America and Africa, controls them..
if im not mistaken i heard this in the International Economics Issues lecture by Dr.Mario..
and to be clear, Malaysia is not a member of OPEC..
Indonesia was but recently they announced that they are quitting the organization this year (when their mmbership expires)..

while majority thinks that oil price is a burden, i think it has its advantage as well..
for example, Malaysia could increase their effort to find more oil..
more oil more money..
more money means more....??
you do the math..
and at the same time we can help save the environment..
well.. i knw its not realistic but if everyone saved even 1 litre of oil, approx 20mil litre overall, more or less it will help the environment..
less air polution.. more ppl are careful about their expenditure.. and etc..
yes i knw..
some of u might ask wht about inflation? (inflation - increase in general level of prices of goods and services..)
hmmm..
